Mr. Percy, Lead Teacher

Mr. Percy (he/him) joined the Gan Teva family as a Lead Teacher in 2024-2025 school year. As an educator, Percy aims to understand each student as whole and complete individuals, working and learning alongside them to build a culture of warmth, interdependence, and mutual growth. He loves punk rock, picking up new hobbies, and every creature he's every met--from the cute and fuzzy to the creepy crawly.

Ms. Marcy has a background in the visual arts. She has been working as a preschool teacher for the past four years. One of Ms. Marcy's favorite things about working at Gan Teva is seeing the children find interesting creatures in nature.

Ms. Emily has been working as a teacher with Gan Teva at Ner Shalom for one year, but she's been a part of the school's family since 2022. She loves to read and has two fur babies that she loves dearly. Her favorite season is fall.

Ms. Sarah has been teaching preschool for more than a decade. She loves exploring , and asking questions like "I wonder why...?" She is a certified Virginia Master Naturalist and has led Gan Teva at Ner Shalom Outdoor Preschool since its inception in 2021.
